Leland Forst, Managing Director and CEO |
Leland founded The Amherst Group Limited and WorkInsights.com based upon two key principles:
- Performance excellence is dependent upon enhancing customer satisfaction on a consistent basis while simultaneously increasing cost and resource effectiveness.
- Companies in which service providers are aligned with and responsive to their external and internal customers will ensure their competitive advantage on a sustained basis.
It is these notions, together with Lee's leadership and excellent team support, which make WorkInsights the best in the business.
Lee holds a PhD in Organizational Theory, MBA and BA from the University of Massachusetts. He has served as a Professor at CUNY, Adelphi University, and Cornell University. He is also the The Conference Board Program Director for the Shared Business Services Councils in North America, Europe, and AustralAsia.
In addition to his consultancy successes, Lee is also a distinguished wine connoisseur.

Holly Bush, Senior Director |
Holly Newsom Bush joined The Amherst Group Limited as a Senior Director in 2004. Prior to joining Amherst, Ms. Bush was a Principal with the management consulting firm of Booz Allen & Hamilton and also worked as a Senior Consultant for Andersen Consulting. She has over 13 years of experience related to organization transformation, including the design and implementation of shared services organizations. She also has significant experience in large program management, process reengineering, and financial systems implementation.

Thomas Clinton, Senior Director |
Thomas Clinton joined The Amherst Group Limited in May 2005 and was promoted to Senior Director in January 2007. Over the past 14 years, Mr. Clinton has assessed and redesigned staffing and HR service management for multi-national corporations. He’s led human capital planning functions, corporate staffing teams, and HR departments for mid- to large-cap organizations.

Melanie Pender, Consultant |
Melanie is part of the support team for WorkInsights.com. She graduated from Bard College with a BA in Physics, and has been with the WorkInsights since August 2001. She enjoys logic puzzles, winning arguments and reading mystery novels. She currently lives in Cary, NC with her two Burmese cats.

Luke Nickerson, Research Consultant |
Luke has been part of the WorkInsights.com team since December 2003. Currently, he is responsible for designing reports, database development, and general WorkInsights troubleshooting. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Bard College, and enjoys computers, technology, and politics. Luke currently resides in New York, NY.

Jill Heller, Finance |
Jill is currently responsible for client billing, accounts payable and receivable and financial reporting. Prior to WorkInsights, she was a school guidance counselor. Jill graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rochester where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish and an M.S. in Counseling and Human Development. She is married with two sons and lives in New York State.
